"LIFE IS PAIN! AND I BRING IT!"
On the surface, Mudfighter is everything that has made the Decepticons so feared: a berzerker of a warrior who will go right into the middle of any given battle, guns blazing, and not retreat until his mission is done or he's run out of targets to eliminate. As his name implies, he's even willing to get down in the mud and fight alongside the ground-based Decepticons.
Beneath the surface, however, Mudfighter is a tortured spark. During the time in which Megatron was off-line, Mudfighter found himself drifting. He began to fill the void within by turning to such un-Decepticonlike activities as horticulture, poetry, and even interpretive dance. He's come to prefer the more gentle ways of expressing himself, but at the same time he still finds himself obligated to continue the fight now that Megatron has emerged.

I picked up a spare McDonald's Lugnut figure at a garage sale, and I had the idea for him from there. I'll explain the color scheme & such in the next pic.
